Provided as-is. Use at your own risk. No liability.

We work to handle your information responsibly, but no system is perfectly secure. You use Cleats to Campus at your own risk, and to the fullest extent permitted by law the owner of Cleats to Campus cannot be held liable for anything arising from its use, including any loss, disclosure, or misuse of information. See our Terms of Service.

1. Overview

This policy explains what information Cleats to Campus (“we,” “us”) collects through cleatstocampus.com, how we use it, and who we share it with. By using the Service you agree to this policy.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information. Your email address, and the basic profile details (such as name) provided by Google if you sign in with Google. We do not use passwords. When you sign in with email, we send a one-time code to your address, and we store only the temporary, single-use data needed to verify it.
  • Purchase information. Stripe processes your payment. We receive and store a Stripe customer ID, whether you have paid, and when. We do not receive or store your full card number.
  • Player profile. Information you enter about your player: name, birth date, graduation year, positions, height and weight, GPA and SAT/ACT scores, athletic measurables and stats (such as velocity, exit velocity, 60-yard dash, and pop time), batting side, and an optional photo. You may also add optional school and contact details: the player’s high school (with city and state), travel or club team, a highlight video link, and an email address and phone number for coaches to reach them. We also keep a dated history of the measurables each time you update them, which we use to project your player’s development.
  • Activity in the app. The colleges you favorite and how you order them, the status, outcome, and interest rating you give each one, the notes and to-dos you write about them, and the searches and filters you apply.
  • Technical data. Standard request data such as IP address, browser type, and device information, plus cookies needed to keep you signed in.

A player profile usually describes a high school student, who may be a minor. Profiles are created and managed by the account holder: a parent or legal guardian, or a player who is an adult (see the Terms). We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

3. How we use it

  • To create and secure your account and keep you signed in.
  • To process your payment and unlock access.
  • To calculate your player’s college matches and projections from the player profile.
  • To fill in the coach email templates on your board with the details in your player profile. The drafts are assembled for you to copy or open in your own email app; we do not send them.
  • To operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • To respond to your messages and send essential account or service emails.
  • To detect abuse and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not contact coaches or schools on your behalf. We never share your player’s profile, photo, or contact details with coaches, schools, or anyone else. A coach sees this information only if you choose to include it in an email you send yourself.

4. Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the Service, and only as needed for them to do so:

  • Supabase: authentication, database hosting, and file storage (including player photos).
  • Stripe: payment processing.
  • Resend: delivering the one-time sign-in code emails we send to your address.
  • Google: sign-in, if you choose it.
  • Our hosting provider: serving the site.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business.

5. Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary for authentication and keeping your session active. We do not use advertising cookies.

6. Retention and security

We keep your information for as long as your account exists and as needed for legal, tax, and fraud-prevention purposes. We use reasonable safeguards, including encryption in transit and row-level access controls on our database. Player photos are stored privately and shown only to the account they belong to, through links that expire after a short time. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices

You can ask to access, correct, or delete your information, or delete your account, by emailing contact@cleatstocampus.com. Deleting your account removes your account profile, your player profile and its history, your player’s photo, and your favorites along with their status, notes, and to-dos; we may retain limited records where the law requires. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy law, which we will honor as required.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The date above shows the latest version, and continued use after a change means you accept it.
