Terms of Service

Last updated: October 30, 2026

Provided as-is. Use at your own risk. No liability.

Cleats to Campus is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. You use it entirely at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the owner of Cleats to Campus cannot be held liable for anything arising from or related to the service or its data. See sections 5 and 6 below.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and the owner of Cleats to Campus (“we,” “us”) covering your use of cleatstocampus.com and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account, paying, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

The Service is intended for high school baseball players and their parents or guardians. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and purchase access. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must create the account and use the Service on your behalf, and that adult accepts these Terms.

If you create a player profile for someone other than yourself, you confirm that you are the player’s parent or legal guardian, or have their permission, and that you may provide the player’s information and photo to us so we can provide the Service.

3. The Service

Cleats to Campus is a research tool that organizes information about college baseball programs so families can search, filter, and compare schools. We do not contact coaches on your behalf, we are not a recruiting or scouting service, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by the NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA, CCCAA, or any other athletic association, college, university, or athletic program.

The Service also matches players to colleges. Based on the information you enter, we estimate a player’s athletic and academic fit at each college and can project the player’s numbers to graduation. Matches, fit labels (such as Reach, Target, Safety, Likely, Possible, or Stretch), projections, and the benchmarks behind them are estimates. They rely on the information you provide and on our own assumptions about typical recruits at each level. They are not official, are not endorsed by any association or school, and are not predictions of any outcome.

The Service includes email templates that fill in your player’s details so you can write to coaches. They are suggestions only. We do not send emails for you. You decide whether, when, and to whom to send anything, and you are responsible for the content, accuracy, and recipients of every message you send, including checking a coach contact’s address and any recruiting contact rules that apply to your player.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

4. Accounts, payment, and refunds

  • You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email, or with Google. You are responsible for keeping your account secure, including access to your email inbox, and for all activity under it.
  • Access is sold as a one-time payment (currently $49 USD, subject to change) processed by Stripe. There is no subscription and no automatic renewal. We do not store your card details.
  • “Lifetime access” means access for as long as the Service operates. It is not a promise that the Service, or any particular feature or data, will exist forever.
  • Because access to the database is delivered immediately, all purchases are final and non-refundable, except where required by law.
  • Your account is for you and your family only. Do not share credentials or resell access.

5. As-is, at your own risk

The Service and all content, data, and features are provided “as is” and “as available.” You use the Service entirely at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, availability, non-infringement, and any warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

College data comes from public and third-party sources, including federal datasets and school websites, and may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. This includes costs, admissions figures, athletic classifications, rosters, and coach contact details. Always verify anything that matters directly with the school, its athletic department, and its coaches before making a decision.

Nothing in the Service guarantees or predicts that any player will be recruited, receive an offer, be admitted, receive financial aid or a scholarship, or make a roster. The Service does not provide professional, legal, financial, or admissions advice.

Eligibility minimums used in the Service (for example, NCAA and NAIA GPA and test score requirements) are simplified summaries and may not reflect every rule or the latest changes. Confirm a player’s eligibility with the NCAA Eligibility Center or the NAIA Eligibility Center. A college not appearing as a match, or being labeled a reach, a stretch, or ineligible, is not a determination by us or anyone else of a player’s eligibility, admissibility, or ability.

6. No liability

The owner of Cleats to Campus cannot be held liable for anything. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we, our owner, and anyone who works on or supplies the Service will not be liable for any claim, loss, or damage of any kind arising out of or related to the Service, whether direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive, and whether based on contract, tort (including negligence), or any other theory. That includes lost opportunities, missed recruiting or admissions outcomes, financial loss, loss of data, decisions made using the Service, errors or omissions in the data, and unauthorized access to your account or information.

If, despite the above, liability is found to exist, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you; in that case they apply to the maximum extent allowed.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the owner of Cleats to Campus from any claim or expense arising from your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • scrape, bulk-download, or systematically copy the database, or resell or redistribute its contents;
  • use the Service, including its email templates, to spam or harass coaches, schools, or anyone else, or to send mass or repetitive unsolicited emails;
  • upload a photo of anyone other than the player, or of a player you do not have the right to share;
  • upload images that are inappropriate, offensive, or unlawful;
  • attempt to bypass the paywall, probe for vulnerabilities, or interfere with the Service or its security;
  • use the Service for anything unlawful.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without refund.

8. Information and photos you provide

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter about a player, and for having the right to upload any photo. You keep ownership of what you provide. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display it to you, only to operate the Service. We do not share it with coaches, schools, or anyone else, as described in our Privacy Policy. Deleting your account deletes it.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, software, and the compiled database, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use it for your own college search. School names and logos belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify them.

10. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties, including Supabase (authentication, database, and file storage), Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), Google (sign-in), and our hosting provider. Links to school and other websites lead to content we do not control and are not responsible for.

11. General

  • Changes. We may update these Terms. The date above shows the latest version, and continued use after a change means you accept it.
  • Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree that any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Florida.
  • Severability. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
  • Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service.
